Passing on by...

So things are crazy busy in Brownville. With Steve still working out of state 4-5 nights a week I am going it alone with the kids. It keeps me pretty busy bussing them to all of their activities.

Kaleb is finishing up his school year and speech therapy. He has done amazingly well in speech this year. He is so much easier to understand and he is more confident I think.
Taylor just finished round one of learn to cheer and will be doing round two starting June 3 Taylor has found her calling with cheering. She loves it and is really good at it. The place that she goes does tumbling as well so she is learning how to jump, flip, spin and do a little dance.
Megan is playing softball and seems to like it, this being her first year playing, but she has been having trouble with the assistant coach who I think is a raving lunatic. Megan is 9 and really just wants to learn how to play and have fun. Coach crazy however is ridiculing the kids, not just my daughter when the head coach can't be there. I gave Coach crazy three chances, hoping she would smarten the fuck up and quit being an asshole, but she hasn't so I had to contact the head coach and let her know what a piece of shit her AC was being. We will see what happens.Yeah, Momma bear is here...

anyhoo...
we are having some seriously hot weather, like middle of July hot!! I kinda like it, have the a/c's going and went to a friends yesterday so the kiddos could swim. We don't have our pool up yet, but it will be soon.

Steve is doing great. He loves his job and is really good at it. He has been with the company for 5 months now and has been lead-man on 3 jobs. The bosses are impressed with his knowledge and abilities and his work ethic. While some employees are content to take their time and "milk" the job, Steve works fast and gets it done, ultimately making the company more money on the jobs they bid on. He has full benefits with the company and we are going to move down to Mass at some point. Because of the financial difficulties of last year we have to rebuild credit in order to buy a house, and that takes time. So we will probably be here for one more year. I think we will be able to get through that with no problems.

I am looking forward to a busy summer. Taylor will be cheering, Megan will be playing softball, we have camping trips in the works and hopefully the weather will cooperate this year. I am cautiously optimistic that this year will be everything that last year wasn't. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!

I am happy to hear that things are going well for you and yours. Can you believe another school year is almost over?
