Passing on by...

So things are crazy busy in Brownville. With Steve still working out of state 4-5 nights a week I am going it alone with the kids. It keeps me pretty busy bussing them to all of their activities.

Kaleb is finishing up his school year and speech therapy. He has done amazingly well in speech this year. He is so much easier to understand and he is more confident I think.
Taylor just finished round one of learn to cheer and will be doing round two starting June 3 Taylor has found her calling with cheering. She loves it and is really good at it. The place that she goes does tumbling as well so she is learning how to jump, flip, spin and do a little dance.
Megan is playing softball and seems to like it, this being her first year playing, but she has been having trouble with the assistant coach who I think is a raving lunatic. Megan is 9 and really just wants to learn how to play and have fun. Coach crazy however is ridiculing the kids, not just my daughter when the head coach can't be there. I gave Coach crazy three chances, hoping she would smarten the fuck up and quit being an asshole, but she hasn't so I had to contact the head coach and let her know what a piece of shit her AC was being. We will see what happens.Yeah, Momma bear is here...

anyhoo...
we are having some seriously hot weather, like middle of July hot!! I kinda like it, have the a/c's going and went to a friends yesterday so the kiddos could swim. We don't have our pool up yet, but it will be soon.

Steve is doing great. He loves his job and is really good at it. He has been with the company for 5 months now and has been lead-man on 3 jobs. The bosses are impressed with his knowledge and abilities and his work ethic. While some employees are content to take their time and "milk" the job, Steve works fast and gets it done, ultimately making the company more money on the jobs they bid on. He has full benefits with the company and we are going to move down to Mass at some point. Because of the financial difficulties of last year we have to rebuild credit in order to buy a house, and that takes time. So we will probably be here for one more year. I think we will be able to get through that with no problems.

I am looking forward to a busy summer. Taylor will be cheering, Megan will be playing softball, we have camping trips in the works and hopefully the weather will cooperate this year. I am cautiously optimistic that this year will be everything that last year wasn't. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Forward!

So still no definite findings on the chest x-ray. they are leaning towards scarring from his horrible cough, but we are still waiting to hear what his doctor thinks it is.....

But we still have to carry on and hope for the best.
So carry on we will. Steve is still loving his job. this week he is back working at the Frito Lay plant where they are replacing the boilers. Last week he took "flat Kaleb" which is Kaleb's shadow that he made at school. Flat Kaleb got to go to the Frito Lay plant and have his picture taken with Uncle Shane.

Yay for flat Kaleb!! And that gentleman holding him is not the stay puff marshmallow man, that is in fact Uncle Shane!!

Megan is all done basketball for the season, her team went undefeated!! Awesome!

Taylor just started her learn to cheer class. She absolutely loves it!! She has a natural talent for it (I think). She's super light, really energetic, she loves being the center of attention. She has no fear so the tumbling will be no problem. She can already do a cartwheel and last night she did two hand stands. I'm thinking about signing her up for extra tumbling. We will see how next week goes!!
That's all I got.
